Welcome to BAASC

Welcome to BAASC

Manager: Mrs R Chalk

Deputy Manager: Mrs E Griffiths-Hand

"Our Before and After School Club aims to provide a welcoming service, where children are encouraged to take part in a variety of games and activities inside and outdoors. Our team are here to support your children and enable them to grow and thrive in a relaxed, friendly and safe environment. "

Here you can find relevant information regarding our Before and After School Provision.

Our Ofsted number is:316785 and our provisions registration number for childcare vouchers is RP907831.

We are a non-profit organisation that is insured to accept up to a 100 children.

We currently operate at a maximum of 24 children within our EYFS/ Year1 provision with 3 playworkers.

As manager of our provision I will send out important updates, newsletters and direct messages via our Parent Hub App.

Please ensure that you have the app and  follow The B&ASC channel for all updates relating to club. I am contactable via email at

I work with my Deputy Manager and dedicated team of Play workers to ensure the safety and well-being of your children.

Your children's interests are vital in making sure they are happy and healthy whilst at Club, we regularly ask for their input.  It is their free time to relax, play and enjoy a fun, safe and stimulating environment.

We have an activity each week as well as toys and table games for our children to engage in, the children have a choice whether to play inside or outside. We like to encourage outdoor play as much as the weather permits, exercise and fresh air are great for the children's health and mental well-being.

All our children have the opportunity to mix at our Breakfast club provision, having their morning snack in the hall or Club room, playing with toys or table games. Our EYFS and Year 1 children then play outside on the Year 2 playground where the play equipment is suitable for their age. Our key stage 2 children utilise the main playground facilities.

Within our After School provision EYFS and Year 1 utilise the Foundation stage area to have their snack and early play, they then join our hall setting with KS2. We provide consistency in a safe and stimulating environment that meets their needs as well as giving them the opportunity to mingle with our older children. For our Key stage 2 children we use the hall, our After School Club area, main playground and the daily mile track.

We are proud to share with you what the children do at club, we regularly update our display boards and the website with their achievements in our photo gallery.

I understand that throughout the pandemic there have been some challenges and some of you haven't had the opportunity to see our setting. Moving forward with the school opening up for face to face events, I hope you get the chance to see our lovely displays and club provision areas in person.

Please take a look and enjoy.

Any further enquiries please contact me at, Deputy Mrs Griffiths-Hand also has access to this email address to ensure there is someone to assist you as much as possible. We work hard as a team to communicate as openly and efficiently as we can with you. Upon drop off and pick up you will get the chance to meet members of our team face to face. We look forward to seeing you.

Healthy Provision

Being a healthy club is very important to us and we value our children's ideas and opinions on what snacks they would like to have. As a club we understand that some children have allergies and intolerances to certain foods, we are here to support these children and be able to provide an alternative. We also have vegetarian and vegan options available. All team members are trained and have completed their level 2 hygiene certificate when preparing food for your children.

" I love the toast we get at club, it always tastes better" - Erin
